Domain Names In The News 23rd of December 2022

Posted on 23/12/2021

Here are the Domain Names In The News 23rd of December 2022 that I have picked three stories that feature domain names that might or might not be of interest to you… As one person commented on NamePros this is what they want to see how domain names that are bought are being developed and used in the world… I’ll keep running these posts, for now, to see what the readership is like and make a decision in the new year should I continue to write them for you or not.

Domain Name News Story Number 1 – Steve-O will be fondly remembered from Jackass the hit MTV Show that made him and Jonny Knoxville etc famous, following the TV Show, they also created three movies from the Jackass franchise, However, Steve-O now has decided to launch his own X Rated Website, that’s right folks… Don’t click through here unless you want to see the X Rated Content from Steve-O, his site has launched on the domain name SteveORaw.com, it was registered via NameCheap.com on the 4th of October 2021, he hasn’t registered Steve-ORaw.com is still available at the time of writing this post – Read the full story here which is safe for work.

Domain Name News Story Number 2 – A Montana Tech professor knows the importance of having accurate information about road conditions before traveling, he launched a website many years ago on weathershare.org, the domain name has been registered since 2004 and has built a portal to help travelers in the states find a safe way home this holiday season, to access the map however you visit a subdomain – oss.weathershare.org both WeatherShare.com and WeatherShare.net were registered after WeatherShare.org, I assume the professor though back in 2004 a dot-org domain name was the best option for a nonprofit website, subdomains are always hard for people to use from my experience and I would recommend the professor to register ossweathershare.org you can read the full story here.

Domain Name News Story Number 3 – CO2 GRO confirms they had an outage on their corporate domain name CO2GRO.ca reading the story the Canadian company also promotes the domain name co2delivery.ca, having a quick search to see who owns the dot com versions of these two domain names, I can see domain industry behemoth Huge Domains owns CO2GRO.com and has it listed for $3,895 USD, co2Delivery.com is registered to an organization named – Today’s Vein Solutions but this domain name doesn’t resolve, you can read more about the outage and CO2GRO by visiting here if you wanted to own a typo you could register c02delivery.com that’s a Zero, not an O but could be a common typo…
