The domain name Daybreak.Studio was sold yesterday on Sedo.com and published on Namebio.com for $15,000 USD.

This makes it the Joint Second Highest publicly recorded DOT Studio Sale, The highest known just pips ahead with AR.Studio being sold for $15,495 USD in late 2018 also on the Sedo.com platform.

Design.Studio was sitting in second place having been sold for $15,000 USD in 2017, being sold directly by Rightside who brought the GTLD to market.

The domain name is in Escrow at present so we can’t confirm who has acquired the domain name yet according to Whois records, we can see that DaybreakStudio.com has been registered since 28th of August 2000 against organization DASTEC, INC with a coming soon lander that then forwards to a 500 server error, so I doubt they dropped $15K to pick up the GTLD hack but I could be wrong…

Daybreak.Studio itself has been registered since 1st of August 2016 and was under whois privacy for a number of years so I can’t confirm who owned the domain name either but congratulations to them for making the second highest .Studio sale and closing $15K before the holidays is always a nice way to end the year.

The site was developed from an old Archive.org link below showing it from back in the day in 2018, however, the registrar did change over its history and it might have been dropped/resold between ownership history to the current day.
