Sedo announces eName Sedo MLS Premium Partnership

Sedo, the world’s largest domain marketplace and monetization provider, today announced that Chinese registrar eName is the newest SedoMLS Premium partner. EName is the first ICANN-accredited registrar from China to join the SedoMLS Premium network. This extends the reach of SedoMLS even further into Asia, and increases the number of potential buyers in the network. As a full SedoMLS partner, eName both distributes premium names from Sedo’s inventory of more than 16 million to end users throughout Asia, and allows their own customers to list domains for sale in the SedoMLS Premium network.

“The partnership between eName China and Sedo is a powerful one, helping open up sales channels for domains both domestically and internationally,” said Deijing Kong, eName’s CEO. “It helps not only with key issues and challenges such as the language barrier and domain transfers, but also expands the domain trading market much further, and attracts even more customers looking for new sales services. I sincerely look forward to a much deeper and closer cooperation between our two organizations in order to achieve more in the future, and to contribute to the development of domain industry.”

“The SedoMLS network prides itself on being the only truly global domain distribution network,” said Sedo’s Chief Sales Officer Liesbeth Mack-de Boer. “By adding more and more partners across the world, we are helping domain name sellers reach the right buyer, wherever they are located, and whatever their language. We are thrilled to have eName join the network.”

About eName

eName Technology Co., Ltd (eName) was founded in May 2005, and is one of the largest leading domain service providers based in China. Currently, eName is devoted to creating three main platforms: the portal site (eName.cn), the domain transaction platform (eName.com), and the domain management platform (eName.net). eName provides not only domain registration, domain brokerage service, domain escrow service, and domain backorder bid, but is also an information service provider and communication platform which provides its users with professional domain news, a domain name encyclopedia, a domain monthly magazine, and a domain forum.

About SedoMLS

The SedoMLS Promotion Network is the largest domain distribution network, with more than 80 partners, including Go Daddy and other top registrars. It supports more TLDs than any other domain distribution network, and provides its registrar partners with a new revenue stream. SedoMLS partners display matches from Sedo’s unique inventory. Some partners redirect potential buyers to Sedo.com to continue with the purchase, while others allow buyers to purchase a name directly by searching for it, adding it to their shopping cart, and completing the partner’s online checkout page.

About Sedo

Sedo, an acronym for “Search Engine for Domain Offers,” is the leading domain marketplace and monetization provider. Headquartered in Cologne, Germany and with offices in London, England and Cambridge, Mass., Sedo has assembled the world’s largest database of domain names for sale, with more than 16 million listings. The success of Sedo’s model has attracted a global base of more than 1 million members.

So what do you think? Will this be good for your domain portfolio for sale at Sedo.com?
