Where are you parking your domain names?
I wrote this original post back in Jan 2013, SedoParking.com was the number one company for domain parking by volume of domain names pointed to their name servers however as we are now in the final week of September and entering the final quarter of the year I thought it would be interesting to see where you are parking your domains?
The list isn’t fully extensive as many domain names are often left pointed at domain registrars which I haven’t included with the exception of GoDaddy.com via their Cash Parking service.
Number 1 is still Sedo.com
Number 2 is still InternetTraffic.com
Number 3 is still DomainSponsor.com
Number 4 is still CashParking.com
Number 5 is still Above.com (However Above is a Domain Parking optimization service & redirects traffic to best CPC Landers at various parking companies)
However some of the other parking companies below have seen some growth and winning market share from others while of course this leads to some losing market share also – All of the stats are taken from DailyChanges.com which is powered by DomainTools.com – Stats and Figures might not be 100% accurate as numbers change every minute with domains being transferred in and out all day long.
What does surprise me is the number of domains still at Parked.com and WhyPark.com which both have been out of service for over 12 months – This is surely just lost revenue?
