As you know, I use WhoisXMLapi.com for domain name research and I can’t stress how awesome there platform is and really is a must for any domain name investor or company looking to protect their brand and also monitor what the competition is doing too, while getting my daily update from WhoisXMLapi.com today, I noticed that Netflix LLC has registered two new domain names.
DiscoverCursed.com & DescubreCursed.com (Descubre) Spanish for Discover
So I did a quick google and can see that Netflix shall be launching a new Netflix original show aptly named “Cursed” Netflix describes it below.
Armed with mysterious powers and a legendary sword, young rebel Nimue joins forces with charming mercenary Arthur on a mission to save her people.
Having a quick look on YouTube.com, I can’t see an official trailer or preview of Cursed by NetFlix showing yet on their official YouTube page, Wikipedia already has some details online about Cursed, The TV adaptation is based on the illustrated novel of the same name by Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler.
You can buy the book on Amazon.com for $12.50 if you want to read the book, before watching the show – I know a lot of people always complain that TV Show or Movie is never the same as the actual original story.

Filming took place last year in Deeplace, England (Ex British Army Land) so the show shouldn’t be too affected by Coronovirus and shall hit our screens later this year, hence why Netflix has chosen now to register the domain names, DiscoverCursed.com & DescubreCursed.com (Descubre) Spanish for Discover.
Why didn’t NetFlix register or use the domain name Cursed.com instead of Discover Cursed / Descubre Cursed?
Well, I did what any good domain name investor would do and checked out Who Owns Cursed.com?
It turns out Cursed.com is owned by Oath Inc, and the domain name redirect to Yahoo.com, however, I did receive an error page when I tried earlier today, did you?
So if Cursed does become a big hit on NetFlix, do you think Oath Inc will be in for a big payday? Will NetFlix try and acquire the domain name Cursed.com from Oath Inc, or could Oath be onto a winner and develop a killer site dedicated to the NetFlix TV Show Cursed? – What do you think?
