Matt McKnight, an Ohio University sophomore college student has donated the domain name PaulRyanVP.com to Mitt Romney.
Matt only registered this domain along with others on the 11th of August 2012.
Matt McKnight reserved several Internet domains related to Ryan after his choice as Romney’s running mate made news, Matt said he was contacted by a member of Romney’s digital team after news of his efforts was published in National Journal and elsewhere.
On Wednesday morning, Matt transferred the domain PaulRyanVP.com to the Romney campaign. The Romney camp promised Matt special access at an Ohio campaign event in appreciation of his generosity, the student said in an e-mail.
Matt McKnight also owns paulryansucks.com, and plans to keep it blank, he has also registered a site dedicated to Ryan’s wife called JannaRyan.com, which he has populated with pictures and content and says he intends to maintain for a while.
The domain is listed however for sale @ GoDaddy.com for $2K – So you have to wonder if he would have sold it if he got that offer?
