Alex Verdea tweeted earlier today that he sold the domain name UseBloom.com for a cool $20,000 USD.

He also shared in the tweet that the domain name was only acquired 14 months ago for $17 USD.

The domain name has been registered since 2017 and appears to have been owned by industry behemoth HugeDomains.com until Alex acquired in 2021, in what I guess must have been an auction on DropCatch.com but I can’t confirm that 100% maybe Alex will share more details.

Congratulations to Alex on his sale, I noticed on his Twitter feed that Alex has an eBook too named TheDomainInvestingPlaybook.com I haven’t read it myself but looking on the site, I can see Alex has previously had some coverage from Morgan Linton too in the past… I miss Morgan’s posts too, don’t you?

Indeed I bought it on DropCatch for $10 and paid $7 to transfer out.
The buyer is a London based start-up that upgraded from .AI

Exactly one year ago this month I also sold BloomFlow (.)com for a similar amount and same scenario Paris based startup upgraded from .io to .com

I see a lot of brands upgrading from .io .co .ai .xyz to .com.
Sooner or latter any business that is serious will upgrade to the .com version…

Thanks for sharing your feedback on the sale Alex, really interesting to see Huge Domains letting the domains flow through Drop Catch instead of holding themselves, congrats on the other sale too.
