It’s been 10 months since I lasted posted, to be honest it’s 10 months of not really being in the domain name space.
This year I had planned on spending more time on the blog which did start well with a daily post throughout January but then I stopped mid February and I don’t really know why, I probably should be writing now more than ever as the number of domain blogs that are active has dropped considerably.
We all know the industry is tiny and doesn’t get the true coverage it deserves and I amongst others should know better having started this blog over 14 years ago, so I need to do something different in 2026 to write more and I’m happy to hear from others what do you want to see next year?

I thought I was the only one thinking the active blogs are shrinking. I think X and Linked in took a lot of the domaining traffic although X probably has the lions share. I notice even NamePros traffic is down so you are not alone in your observation.
I run DN.ca a Canadian domaining site and it takes constant engagement to keep the numbers up.
For me I am fortunate there is no other active Canadian Blog/Forum in the domaining space and I have great sponsors so the decision to keep going makes sense but I do use X to drive traffic back so a mix of both works.
As far as your blog goes, I enjoyed reading it and it was part of my daily read. I hope you come back at full strength because we do miss you in the domaining space.
