We wrote an article on the blog today about Sun Shirts and while completing the article we realised that the market for Sun Protection Clothing is growing stronger, check out our post here-Sun Shirts & Why You Need Wear One! I’ll be honest its a category that I wasn’t aware was so strong with $8 Billion Dollars in revenues and predict to grow towards $14 Billion by 2027.
Naturally my mind automatically pivots to buying domain names when I see a niche category and decide if there is an opportunity to develop a website or flip a domain name to end users, I say Niche category as I focused on “Shirts” however the UV Clothing category is something that is only going to get bigger any many probably don’t realise most Fishing Shirts, Surfing Shirts and Golfing Shirts are by definition Sun Shirts with the UV Properties build into many of them.
I went into my usual Keyword Searches as “Sun Shirts” is a broad term, I came across other names people were using such as “Rash Guard Shirts” this wasn’t a terminology that I had heard of before so I continued to look at other terms and the below were some domain names that I saw were taken but others that were available to register.

The market for Sun Protection Clothing currently with worth over $8 Billion Dollars and is predicted to grow especially as the world keeps getting warmer every year, the need for this type of product isn’t going to be seasonal it could become the norm where all of our clothes are UV rated to help protect us from the sun, So would you registered any of the available domain names, I have my eye on a few more and also a brandable domain name too but I thought I would share my finds and love to hear your thoughts.
